The Australian Nonprofit Accounting Research Standards Project, supported by the Institute of Community Directors, is pleased to present this seminar as part of our Nonprofit Accounting Standards Seminar Series. IFR4NPO is an initiative established to drive the development of proportionate, effective and efficient financial reporting guidance for the global nonprofit sector.
Samantha Musoke, Project Director of IFR4NPO, will be presenting this session which will focus on the objectives, structure and achievements to date of IFR4NPO. This is an essential session for anyone who has an interest in nonprofit accountability, tran sparency and governance, including volunteer directors, CEOs, CFOs and policy makers. Samantha will also take questions related to this subject.

Samantha Musoke: Samantha is a UK Chartered Accountant (ACA) and CPA(U) with 19 years post qualification experience in the NPO sector in Uganda, as auditor, consultant, trainer, advisor, CFO and Board member. Previous roles include auditing with Mazars and Carr Stanyer Sims; training delivery, training of trainers and training design with Humentum (formerly Mango); financial consultancy with Aclaim Africa Ltd for a variety of NPO clients, Grant Management Advisor for VSO Uganda, CFO for Childs i Foundation, Board Treasurer of two schools and Regional Director East Africa for Humentum.
The Australian Nonprofit Accounting Standards Research Program: This research and engagement program is supported by the Institute of Community Directors and is being undertaken by a group of Australian universities led by the Not-for-profits UWA Research Team at the University of Western Australia. It is focused on supporting the development of proportionate, relevant, efficient and effective accounting standards for nonprofit and charitable organisations.
