WE ENCOURAGE
YOU TO HAVE A
LOOK AT SOME OF THE INTERESTING
AND THOUGHT PROVOKING PRESENTATIONS THAT WERE MADE AT THE
CONFERENCE.
It has been
some months since the conference where we DEMONSTRATED that we
were and can be a community of connectedness. We DEMONSTRATED
that our arms and minds can reach each other in community -
locally, regionally, and internationally. We DEMONSTRATED that
our work contributes to the enhancing of wellbeing of people and
planet. We have the energy, the commitment and the SKILLS that
can be amplified! What an even bigger difference we could make
AS researchers, THROUGH the crafting, the style, and the
application of our research.
We benefited
from the Good Shepherding of Marcus (yes with rod and staff as
appropriate - but with song and aroha always), and learnt
through the Good Guidance of Maaki and her Team. What might have
been a cold wet walk through a ritual was a heart warming
bonding of community. Tena koe, Maaki. We thank you.
We encourage
all who attended ANZTSR to keep the sense of community we built
and networking going through the Tangata Whenua, Community and
Voluntary Sector Research Clearing House. Check out
www.communityresearch.org.nz in the coming
weeks and register, look at the resources there and consider
what else you or others in your networks have written that could
be uploaded.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR PUBLISHING YOUR CONFERENCE MATERIAL
To all
Conference presenters - we encourage you to upload your
presentation, abstract or paper as soon as possible. Once you
have registered on the site, you will see 3 easy steps
outlined to guide you through the process. As conference
organisers we cannot upload your work for you - only you as the
person with the copyright can, and this retains your ownership
over your work and its dissemination. If you are concerned about
academic journal copyright issues, you can upload the abstract
only and a link to where it can be accessed. This site welcomes
a broad range of research, not only academic work. Your support
of this emerging network helps advance our knowledge sharing
about research in, by, for and about the tangata whenua,
community and voluntary sector. Register now at
www.communityresearch.org.nz
We thank you
ALL! We wish you well for the years ahead. For those who are
planning to meet again in 2010 at our next exotic location, keep
your eye on the ANZTSR web-site, become a member, submit your
work to our journal, any journal, talk to everyone about your
research and the communities you serve.
